Lace is an open weave fabric that gives an adorning touch to the gowns. This fabric is used in sleeves, overlays and as a neckline inset. It’s a fabric covered with open holes, flowers and other elegant details. Chantilly lace with more defined edges, Alencon with net as base and decorative motives, Venise, heavy in texture (for winter weddings), are the trendiest laces for wedding gowns.
